Melted Chocolate Frozen Pops

I´m so happy that is summer, finally I can put to good use all the ice cream recipes I have been pinning, so in the honor of the season I decided to make my first of the year batch of frozen pops, and obviously in a chocoholic way, with bitter melted chocolate, cocoa powder and just a hint of almond milk.

Melted Chocolate Frozen Pops

The result is a fudgy ice pop with small pieces of chocolate, a not overly sweet way to fight against the summer heat.

Melted Chocolate Frozen Pops


  • 1/2 Cup melted chocolate
  • 1 Cup almond milk
  • 1 Tablespoon stevia
  • 4 Tablespoons cocoa powder


  1. In a bowl mix the milk and the stevia.
  2. Add the cocoa powder and blend.
  3. Pour in the melted chocolate and continue blending until everything is incorporated.
  4. Transfer to a pop plastic mold and place in the freezer for 5 hours.

    I never thought of using almond milk. What a brilliant idea for my nephew who is allergic to everything! Gluten, dairy, all forms of sugar. It’s really difficult because he’s just a kid. Thanks for that! I wonder how it would turn out with fruit?

      Yes it´s kind of difficult but there are lots of option out there. All my desserts are made using almond milk and stevia instead of sugar and I have a couple of gluten free desserts too! I thing that with fruit should turn out great!

    OMG This looks so good! I totally gotta try making some. I loved fudgecycles as a kid, but these look way better!
